Assistant Director of Gilgit ensures quality wheat and flour supply for Ramadan

Assistant Director of the Food Department, Gilgit, Nisar Ahmed, is conducting a meeting with depot in-charges and flour mill owners to ensure the quality of wheat and flour during the holy month of Ramadan.

All depot in-charges have been instructed to inspect the quality of wheat arriving from Islamabad before unloading it into warehouses. Similarly, flour mill owners have been directed to thoroughly check the wheat before collection. If any complaints regarding flour quality arise during Ramadan, strict action will be taken against the responsible flour mill, and its wheat quota will be suspended.

Furthermore, Assistant Director Nisar Ahmed has formed special monitoring teams to conduct regular inspections of all flour mills to ensure the provision of clean, high-quality, and nutritious food products to the public.

The public is urged to report any complaints immediately to the relevant department so that prompt action can be taken to ensure the supply of quality and healthy wheat and flour.
